Obituary of Eva Parker Spears

Eva Spears Church Hill - Eva Spears, age 77, of Church Hill, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport. She was a very loving mother and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Spears; parents, Lyle and Marie Parker; and sister, Frances Lawson. She is survived by her loving daughter, Traci Spears; special friend, Dallas Johnson; sister, Jeanne Bailey; brothers, Tommy Parker (Joy) and Gerald Parker (Shelby); several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family would like to thank the 7th floor staff of Indian Path Medical Center for their care and support through the loss of Ms. Spears. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Regina Shelton and Chaplain Ron Owens officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 26, 2014 at Ross Campground Cemetery.
