Obituary of Samuel A. Ireson

Kingsport - Samuel A. Ireson, Jr., 23, of Kingsport passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014 due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. Samuel was a lifelong resident of Kingsport, (Sullivan County). He graduated from Sullivan South High School in 2008 and served in the U.S. Army. Samuel was self-employed as a Horse Trainer and Diesel Mechanic. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Glen Estes, Shirley Estes, Elbert Ireson and Mattie Lee Hartsock Ireson. He is survived by his mother, Angela Estes Ireson of Kingsport; brother, Spencer Ireson of Kingsport; father, Samuel A. Ireson, Sr. of Kingsport; step grandmothers, Shelia Estes and Carolyn Ireson both of Kingsport; along with several aunts, uncles, cousin and a host of friends; most dear girlfriend, Ceaira Cavin and her daughter, Skyy of Kingsport. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Curtis Johnson and Rev. Nick Adams officiating. A military graveside service will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park with VFW Post 4933 conducting the rites. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Ireson family.
