Obituary of Thelma B. Everhart
Thelma B. Everhart, 92, of Angier, North Carolina formerly of Kingsport passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Rex Hospital, Raleigh, NC.
She was born on July 24, 1921 in Clinchport, VA and moved to Kingsport in the early 1940's. She was a member of Belleview Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Everhart; her parents, Ernest Doyle and Nealia Ellen (Clayton) Barker; two sisters, Reba Bennett and Vivian Yeary.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Greene & husband Hamilton of Angier, NC; son, David Everhart, Sevierville; two grandchildren, Lauren Levko & husband Adam of Knoxville and Brittney Everhart of Nashville; sister, Mildred Egan & husband Raymond of Kingsport; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport.
Graveside services will follow at 1 pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Kingsport with Dr. John Owston, officiating.
