Obituary of Jenny Parris Robillard

Jenny Parris Robillard, 40 of Boone, NC, formerly of Gate City, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly Sunday November 3, 2013. She attended Gate City High School and then graduated from Mt. Tabor High School in Winston-Salem. She received her Bachelor's degree from Meredith College in early childhood development. Although in her short life Jenny faced many obstacles, she never let them get the best of her by making the most of what she had been given. She was preceded in death by her father, Jeffrey Stephen Parris, Sr; maternal grandfather, James Boyd Fugate; paternal grandparents, Claude and Mildred Parris; stepfather, Ben Humphreys, Sr. She is survived by her mother, Betsy Humphreys, Gate City; sister, Annie Humphreys and fiance' Michael Harris; brother, Jeff Parris Jr and wife Samantha, Cincinatti, Ohio; nephews, Michael McClure and Vincent Sartain; step brothers, Jay Humphreys, David Humphreys and Ben Humphreys and wife Bobbi; extremely special aunt, Jimmie Lou Fugate, Boone, NC; aunt, Margaret Kilbourne, Winston-Salem, NC; maternal grandmother, Margaret Woythal and husband Gerry, Kpt; cousins, Sarah Milch, Hartford, CT and Ellen Sauder, Long Island, NY and cousin Will Pannell, Boone, NC. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2pm Thursday October 10, 2013 at Scott County Funeral Home. A service of remembrance will follow at 2pm with Rev. Jim Harless officiating. Burial will follow in Holston View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family.
