Obituary of Linda Ramey

Linda Ruth Lyall Ramey, 60, of Johnson City, formerly of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 21, 2013 at Johnson City Medical Center. She had lived most of her life in Kingsport, before moving to Johnson City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronda and Cora Sutherland Lyall and a brother, Ricky Lyall. Surviving are her husband, Bill Ramey; daughter, Rebecca Hatmaker; grandmother, Helen V. Ramey; grandfather, Bill Ramey; brothers, Grady Lyall and wife Pearl and Larry Lyall and wife Elaine and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 24, 2013 at Oak Hill Memorial Park, with Pastor Raymond Hammonds officiating. Pallbearers will be Wayne Dykes, James Worley Ramey, Jr., Robbie Taylor, Freddie Scaggs, Bruce Ramey, Jeff Hicks and Chris Johnson. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:55 am. Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown Kingsport is serving the family of Linda Ramey.
