Dear James, I am so sorry about your dad, I was lucky enough to meet him a few times and could tell he was fun to be around. Again, I am sorry and we are thinking of you and your family and praying for you as well.

Uncle Bob was one of a kind. Mom always said he was like a big brother to her. After dad passed he would call mom and check on her often. That meant so much to her and I am sure she will miss him greatly.
My deepest sympathies are with all of his children and grandchildren. Sending love and prayers for peace and comfort.

I love, and miss Bob very much! He was a wonderful friend and teacher. (He seemed to have a computer for a brain because he remembered the tiny details of things that happened yesterday and as well as the tiny details of things that happened decades ago.)
He had a wonderful family which he often said that he was very proud of. (I always told him that that doesn’t just happen; that it’s the result of good parenting.)
I very much look forward to seeing him again in Glory, and will miss him greatly in the meantime!

There are so many. He gave the best hugs. The one i will always remember is he told me he wanted to adopt me because my daddy had passed away. I laughed and said I'm to old to be adopted. He said alright we don't need no papers. Give me a hug i did and he told me now I'm your dad you are my daughter. I love this man as my father i truly believe he loved me. I loved Ellen so much she was my baby. Bob's children have taken me in and treat me as if i am their sister. I love each and everyone of them so much. Bob Dillard i love you and i miss you so much. Hug my baby for me and Bobbie, Ricky Ray. If you see my daddy tell him i love him and miss him.
